Our Story
Thyroid Virtual Clinic was founded by Dr. Igor Priven, a board certified endocrinologist who has run his own successful endocrinology practice in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area for fifteen years. The idea to create a virtual clinic focused on thyroid disease came to Dr. Priven after his realization that the overwhelming majority of his thyroid patients suffered from a condition that was easily managed over time with the right treatment.

Igor Priven, MD – Medical Director and CEO
Dr. Priven has been in clinical practice since 2003 treating endocrine disorders with a special focus on thyroid disease. He is a graduate of New York University (NYU) and SUNY Stony Brook Medical School. Dr. Priven completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and his endocrinology fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, with additional training at the Mayo Clinic. He is designated as a “Thyroid Specialist“ by the American Thyroid Association (www.thyroid.org). He is a member of The American Thyroid Association and Endocrine Society.
